Description:
A cop - Trent Morris - comes home to find his wife has been taken from him. Unknowing if she is alive or dead, he searches his city using his only clue - Zen. A drug that takes over your mind, and is so addictive it will make you think of nothing else until you get your next fix. Trent finally gets a break, when he finds Danielle who leads him to Iggy and Felix. They know what happened to his wife.
The first film that Why Create Films was able to stretch its legs out with, and show the world what we are capable of. I wanted to shoot a film noir style film, as we really focused on lighting and cinematography on this film.
Nominations and Awards: Z-fest 2015 This film was nominated and won, Best Credits, Best Visual Effects, Best Original Score, Best Fight Scene, Best Hero, Best Cinematography, Best Production Design, Best Drama, and won 4th place over all films.
This film was nominated for: Best Directing, Best Editing, Best Lighting.
Out of Zen - Trailer/Prologue.
For short film trailers, I don't really believe that they are necessary since they are so short, and you can give away a lot of plot points in the movie. So I thought to make our trailer more of a prologue leading up to the events of Out of Zen.

One of the biggest success for Out of Zen, was due to a talented artist named Adam Horning. He made a bunch of concept art as well as the backgrounds and poster art. Jaymi Michael provided the Out of Zen Logo and graphic design. Check it out below!
